Biography

 

Abram “Abe” Eshelman is a student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), where he is studying journalism with a minor in communications/media. He previously attended Pennsylvania Highlands Community College with a focus in communications.

He has previously written for IUP’s news website, The Penn, with a beat on the video game industry, as well as for the West-Central Pennsylvania-focused quarterly magazine, Hometown Roots. In High School, he worked as senior editor for the Portage Area Junior Senior High School yearbook.

Abram has received the Sutton Scholarship, the Alice McGivney Mazur Memorial Scholarship through the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies, the Leon M. Abbott Scholarship through the Valley of Harrisburg Scottish Rite, and an academic excellence award for English in High School. He graduated high school as a member of the National Honor Society with Honor Roll.

Currently, he works at a Sheetz in Carrolltown, PA. He plans on entering the field of content creation and journalism, where he wishes to focus on discussing and reviewing media such as video games, film, web series, comics, anime, and television shows.
