- The CPDC, along with The Six O’Clock Series, will be hosting a Business Attire Fashion Show on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the HUB Ohio Room. Find out more about how to present yourself in the best way in order to make a great first impression!
- On Sunday, February 17, 2019, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at JCPenney’s in the Indiana Mall, please join us for this semester’s Suit-Up Event, where the doors will be open to IUP students, faculty, and staff only.
Members of the IUP community will have the chance to shop for professional attire at a 40 percent discount, which will include all business and business casual clothing, shoes, and accessories. There will also be coupons for shoppers to come back at a later date and receive 20 percent off their order, as well as coupons for the salon and for a Sephora mini-makeover. IUP faculty and staff volunteers, as well to assist students in identifying professional clothing options. The JCPenney’s team will be there as well to assist all shoppers.
A shuttle bus will be running outside of Pratt Hall to JCPenney’s every 15–20 minutes, from 4:45-7:30 p.m., for students needing transportation. Although pre-registration is not required to attend, students are encouraged to let the CPDC know they plan on attending the event by filling out the Student Registration form (please indicate “Suit-Up” in the Event You Plan to Attend space).
- The IUP Spring Career Fair 2019, will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex. Business or business casual attire is required. - Drop-in Resume Reviews and Quick Question Hours are held every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:00-6:30 p.m. in Pratt 302 – no appointment necessary!
