Good afternoon! I’m writing to make you aware of an employment this summer that might be of interest to you.

Each summer, the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY) runs summer academic programs on a variety of college campuses throughout the northeast and on the west coast. While at the program, students take intensive studies three-week courses in a variety of topics including courses in writing, social sciences and humanities, mathematics, and science. They are in classes seven hours a day, but after classes, students enjoy a rich social experience helmed by a diverse and energetic residential life staff. This is an opportunity for professional development,
including putting a new age range of residents on your resume as well as meeting a wide variety of fascinating people from all over the country and world.

This summer, we are in need of Resident Assistants (RAs), and there are a number of positions currently open for male RAs, in particular. The programs run in two sessions, from June 25-July 17,
2015 and July 18-August 7, and are housed in a variety of colleges and universities. First-year RAs earn a salary of $1400 for each three-week session. Room and board are provided for all staff.
