The Passhe Summer Honors Program is offering a summer abroad in Belize from May 25, to June 12, 2017!
This 6-credit interdisciplinary honors summer course examines Belize, a small developing country in Central America. After an intensive campus experience at Mansfield University, we spend two weeks travelling through Belize, where we experience first-hand the challenges of development, interview a variety of Belizeans, and prepare a field research project.
This course involves an integrated approach to the study of Belize. In particular, we examine four inter-related themes: The Political System, Globalization, Eco-tourism, and Social diversity.
Each university selects two students for this trip! The CHC application process is now open for applications. Take a look at the details of the trip and submit your materials to Kevin or Dr. Finegan by Friday, December 2 at 4:30 p.m.
