A multimedia exploration by Dr. Marveta Ryan-Sams from on how people of African descent arrived in the Americas, and their cultural impact—especially in music, religion, language, and celebrations.

African Drum and Dance Performances by the St. Francis University
World Drumming Ensemble and West African Dance Ensemble, directed by Jim Donovan.
7:15-8:00
Attendance vouchers will be provided for both events.
