Dear Boren Campus
Representatives and Contacts,
Representatives and Contacts,
As the Boren Fellowship
and Boren Scholarship deadlines quickly approach (February 1 and 10,
respectively), I wanted to let you know that there is more information available
about the African Languages Initiative overseas programs on the American
Councils for International Education’s website. Please see http://apps.americancouncils.org/africanlanguages
for this program information, which includes each program’s potential
curriculum, as well as credit transfer information. Please keep in mind that
while the minimum level of proficiency required for the overseas programs is
novice-high, there will be options for those starting the overseas program at
higher levels too.

study of Bambara, Swahili, Yoruba, and Zulu through both domestic and overseas
study. Please see www.borenawards.org
