Within the past couple months, I have been really focusing on my health. I have been researching and trying to find the healthiest way that I can live. Personally, I do not think that I live unhealthy. I am constantly active and moving around ever rarely sitting for majority of the day. I work on o a regular of six days a week focusing on multiple different muscles and workout types. I have felt myself getting stronger and have more energy evert day. The hardest thing for me to control is me eating habits. Since I have been focusing on my health in more detail, I realized how bad I used to eat compared to the things that I eat now. I used to every rarely have many fruits and diffidently rarely had vegetables. I ate all the gluten, dairy, and sugar that I wanted thinking that a stomachache from these foods was something that everyone experienced. This year I started doing my research and found that these foods that were giving me such a hard time were inflammatory. Meaning that you should stay away from these foods as much as possible. My mom was always healthy, but I do not think that she realized what things caused so much struggles because our dinners were not really that healthy. So, this summer I began cooking dinner and really looking into changing the way I live and eat. I have made decisions based on dairy and gluten that include staying away from it. I realized how less blotted I felt, and my stomach was not rumbling and bubbling after every meal. It is hard because at the same time I will not be able to eat some of my favorite food, but realistically these are the same favorite foods that hurt my stomach. Something that I am trying to focus on is eating then feeling full so stopping. I find myself eating to the point of discomfort because I enjoy the food so much. This could really be damaging my body because when you feel full you are full and should not over feed yourself. I am still in phase one of this journey and have a long way to go but putting myself and my body at the top of my list I get excited to change in a positive way. Do you struggle with dairy or gluten?
