Finally, my dad had fallen in love with this beach town as well. We began talking about a plan to end up here someday. His initial idea was a four-year plan which meant that when my younger brother graduated high school they would move as empty nesters. Well they would think that until I move back home to be at the beach. Then they thought about a two-year plan meaning that my parents would get a house and I would move there after I graduated high school. They would want me to start the family business that my dad has been trying to start for years. Every single person in my family wanted to move to the beach asap. During this pandemic it made us realize how quickly a change in latitude and warmer weather can affect your mental health in a positive way. Houses were going on the market every day while we were at the beach making us realize that maybe we wanted to move quicker because the home were in our price range. In addition, my aunt and uncle want nothing more than for us to join them in the Carolinas. Also, my grandparents someday want to move there as well because of how local and lovely this little town was. There was something for all of us to fall in love with. Would you move quicker or wait for the most reasonable time to move.
Arriving back to Pennsylvania I think it made all of us realize that we wanted to be in the South. There was almost something that was pulling us back there after coming back. Honestly, I realized that there is not much for me in my hometown and I will be much happier at the beach. There were many decisions that needed to be made by not only my parents, but me as well.
