For the remix, I’m thinking about doing a fashion/women’s magazine for witches (like Seventeen or Cosmo or something). I’ll design a front cover and maybe one or two of the spreads from inside the issue and talk about what else I would put in the magazine. I think it’ll be a fun and creative way to explore the wizarding world a little more!
I love this idea! As a journalism major of course anything like making a magazine is exciting. Maybe you could even do a little page with some fun quizzes about the muggle/magical world. Good idea!!
This idea is a lot of fun, and if you focus more on the women’s magazine than the fashion one some ideas that could be fun to incorporate are things like the celebrity crush page (Victor Krum is probably pretty big in the women’s world) or a page about the latest witch/wizard dieting trends (I’m just trying to think of things I see on the front covers of most magazines these days).
There’s a lot of different places you can go with this topic, so I can’t wait to see what you end up with!
I never thought of the wizard world as having a fashion magazine. Pop culture of their world is never something I considered. Really glad you’re doing this! Its a wonderful idea!
I really like this idea. You could maybe do a headline on like love potions for your crush or something super teen-mag like. But I really think this idea would be a fun way for you to explore HP ideas and do an interesting project.
