Dr. A. N. M. Waheeduzzaman is an academic. He received excellence award for both teaching and research. He enjoys reading, teaching, conducting research, consulting, writing and publishing. He believes that every time he teaches a student, publishes a paper, makes a professional presentation, or consults a company, he is making a marginal contribution to the society.
He is employed with Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC) as a Professor of Marketing and International Business in the College of Business. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Kent State University, Ohio. He holds two MBAs, one in International Business from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. and the other in Marketing from Institute of Business Administration, Dhaka University, Bangladesh.
International competitiveness was his dissertation topic. He has continued writing, publishing and making professional presentations on the topic. Currently, he is writing a book on enhancing national competitiveness. His other research interests include globalization, emerging markets, and convergence. His publications have appeared in various refereed journals.
He previously served as the Associate Editor of the journal Competitiveness Review. He also serves as a reviewer for various other journals and professional conferences in marketing and international business topics.
He has been elected to the membership of honor societies like Beta Gamma Sigma (George Washington University), Phi Beta Delta (Kent State University), Alpha Mu Alpha (American Marketing Association) and Sigma Beta Delta (University of New Haven).
He is a member of the American Society for Competitiveness, American Marketing Association, Academy of International Business, International Management Development Association, Society for Advancement of Management, and National Geographic Society.
