Robert C. Camp holds the Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Mississippi and the MBA in Finance from Texas Tech. He has won awards for both distinguished teaching and outstanding research. During his career, he has published and/or presented over 50 scholarly works, including articles in the International Journal of Management, Journal of Global Management, Journal of Global Marketing, Journal of Portfolio Management, and the Journal of Higher Education. He served as Editor of Advances in Competitiveness Research and Deputy Managing Editor of Competitiveness Review.
Dr. Camp has served on a significant number of corporate and public boards and advisory committees. He currently serves on the boards of PNC Preferred Funding, LLC, the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce, the Indiana County Development Corporation, the International Academy of Business Disciplines and the American Society of Competitiveness. He also serves as President of the International Society for Competitiveness. He previously served terms as President of the International Academy of Business Disciplines and the International Management Development Association.
Dr. Camp has served as an academic dean for 29 years. He is the retired Dean of the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He administered an AACSB-International accredited business program with over 2,500 majors and approximately 75 FTE faculty and staff. The Eberly College has been recognized for inclusion in “The Princeton Review’s Best Business Schools,” 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 editions.
Camp has previously been affiliated with DePaul University, Morehead State University, Fort Hays State University, and the Federal Aviation Administration where he served as an economic forecasting consultant.
