If You Are Interested In Applying to The Washington Center

If you are thinking about applying to TWC, please reach out to Kelsey Thompson, Associate Director of the IUP Career and Professional Development Center to schedule a 30-minute meeting. She requires students to meet with her before she approves their application – this meeting can be in-person or via Zoom. This meeting will be helpful in terms of learning what the program is, how to apply, cost, etc.

Students Already Have Internships!

I have received notice that five students already have been approved for an internship with The Washington Center. That is the highest number of approved internships at this point in the year in my time as Internship Coordinator. Well done!
Please remember that The Washington Center boasts free IUP tuition, professional development, and scholarships for other costs, but those funds will eventually be depleted.
While funding is still available, you can apply to The Washington Center, nail down your internship, and relax during the spring knowing your internship will be an amazing opportunity.
The Communications Media Department’s deadline for applying to The Washington Center is March 1st. No TWC internships after March 1st will be approved. Don’t wait! Apply today!
