Today, I recorded the names of everyone who won a basket at the Vintage Affair event on Sunday, May 19th. I had to count and document all the losing tickets. The reason why our department does this is because we have to comply with the Small Games of Chance policies.
I learned today that to be able to host ticket raffles with prizes that exceed over $1000 requires a licence. This is only true for eligible organizations like Lifesteps. Vintage Affair sold over 114 tickets and raised a little over $3,600 gross for Lifesteps.
Next week, I will be getting a laptop and talking with Cassandra about my next project for the summer.

Fiona – you need to add more detail to your posts. Remember to look at the questions in the instructions and answer the required questions in every post. Also remember to record your hours worked each day and total hours worked.
Some of the work you are doing doesn’t appear to be “graduate” level. What tasks will you be performing that are more connected to your MS in Strategic Communication? – Dr. Wilson
