As we all know, people of all ages play sports but the effect of the sport can be more critical for certain ages. Not only is it already not safe for older football players to be in the sun and heat all day long practicing and running on a field for hours a day, it is no condition for younger football players to be out risking their health to play football. There have been many changes to the rules for the game of football for younger athletes because of the many risks that have already been taking and the fatalities that have effected many families. Many young football players have died and suffered serious health conditions due to the conditions they have been put through while playing the sport of football. Football players in middle school usually do not have to practice as much as high school, college and professional football players but they do not have as many practices and they are not as long. High school football players are more at risk because they do have more and longer practices that keep them in the heat longer. High school football coaches used to be able to schedule two separate practices in the summer time for their players which would have them being active in the sun longer more days which causes them to have more health problems. The NCAA has banned all high school and college football coaches to not have two practices in one day due to the many deaths and health concerns parents have. Obviously, the deaths make parents who have football players as kids are going to be more concerned and may even take their child out of the sport due to strong concerns. Schools and coaches have to take more actions when it comes to the concern of the health of the athletes instead of the competition and the game because without the athletes there would be no games or competition, more and more regulations and rules are being put into place to help reduce the deaths and health risks involved with the sport of football.
