Today, I followed up on my mandate to get Marketing and Communications in touch with media organizations so that we can send them press releases. I pursued this by working, as I was instructed to do yesterday, firstly on Allegheny County. Yesterday I’d identified the three major TV stations in the area. Today I created a list of radio stations for which we may need to find contact information.
I learned that Wikipedia is a useful tool for this project because its extensive lists of media organizations in the state. For tomorrow I need to match up the radio stations that feature news with the counties in which they reside.
