Thank You All Things Bridal

Thank You

Working at All Things Bridal in Quakertown is the biggest blessing that has happened to me. In senior year of high school I was a little lost. I just got a job at Target and found out that working in traditional retail was not for me, so I began looking for a new job. I found out that a local prom shop was hiring and I decided to apply, I got an interview, and received a job offer a day later.

I knew that this was a place I wanted to work the moment I walked in. Just being surrounded by all the dresses I was in Heaven. I had already been accepted into Indiana University of Pennsylvania for Fashion so this was a great start into that world.

I started as a prom consultant and loved it. I got to work one on one with the girls to make their dream vision come to life. Then COVID hit and shut down the world. I missed working there so much. Even as COVID continued I was making dresses and designing my dream looks.

Until one day while I was in the car with my mom I got a text from my boss, Cindy, “Hey do you know anything about TikTok?” I immediately responded “Yes, I love TikTok, why?”. Cindy told me she wanted to bring me back to work on TikTok, and that is where the obsession began.

She gave me the freedom to experiment with social media that summer and kinda do what I wanted. As I had to leave for college at the end of the summer she allowed me to continue to work on social media remotely.

After taking a few fashion design classes I found that it just wasn’t for me. However, some dreams started coming to me about my old TV News class in highschool. I took the class everyday for three years and I started to miss it. So, I decided to add a communications minor to my degree.

I went to Cindy after my sophomore year of college and really decided to tell her I want to work in social media. And she continued to help me. When we went to Atlanta she introduced me to several designers and owners of prom dress companies as someone who wants to work in advertising and specifically social media. I was then offered an internship from JOVANI for summer 2023 to work in their social media department.

So, thank you Cindy and thank you All Things Bridal. I will forever appreciate what you did for me.
