My name is Alexandra (Ali) Miller, and I’m a 22 year old senior at Indiana Univetsity of Pennsylvania. As a Communications Media major, I am pursuing my Bachelor of Science and the completion of my Certificate in Audio Production and expect to graduate in August of 2018. A love and fascination with audio production and broadcasting led me to work with WIUP-FM, IUP’s student run radio station, as a weekly DJ (2014-2018), Evening Producer (2017), and Music Director (2017-2018). In Spring 2015 I was the recipient of WIUP-FM’s Best New DJ award, and was also the Sophomore recipient of the 2016 IUP Women’s Leadership Award. In the Summer of 2018 I will be intering with Voice of America (VOA) on the daily radio program Border Crossings, receiving even more hands-on experience in the world of radio broadcasting.
