This organization treats children that are in need of surgeries, have diabetes, cancer, or traumas, and babies that are in the NICU. On average, 62 children come into a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital every minute. 1 in 10 children is treated by CMN hospitals every year.
It was funded by four incredibly compassionate people, including Marie Osmond, John Schneider, Mick Shannon, and Joseph G. During their very first fundraising event back in 1983, over $4.5 million dollars were raised for children in 22 various hospitals. Today 10 million children are taken care of at 170 hospitals across the country.
Marriott International, Dairy Queen, WalMart, and Sam’s Club are a few of the very many partners that the Children’s Miracle Network has. For 35 years this organization has created hope and support for children all over the country battling illnesses and injuries they do not deserve.
