I’m currently on the way to a facility that doesn’t allow firearms I’m assuming. I still carry in these places because it’s not illegal, it is just against their policy. Really the only place I won’t carry in PA is federal buildings. I’m okay giving up my gun if they provide security of some sort. You just have to know the laws and where you’ll get in trouble for it. My work establishment doesn’t permit firearms, and if I see it I’m obligated to enforce it. I won’t get into my personal feelings toward the matter nor legal advice. Most places will simply ask you to leave, or put it in the vehicle. The only time problems are caused there is when a confrontation happens. Just use common sense, keep it concealed, be respectful, and make the decision for yourself. Carrying at IUP is good to go, just not in the dorms from my understanding.
