IUP DAY 2016

myiup-iup-day-template-highlightFirst designed in fall 2007 by IUP alumnus Dijon Cole, IUP Day allows students to explore ways of getting involved at IUP.

In addition, IUP Day allows for each recognized student organization to increase awareness of its mission and potentially its membership base. As a result, students gain a clear sense of the IUP community and the opportunities available through the recognized campus organizations, clubs, and activities.

IUP Day showcases recognized campus organizations that plan small events and/or activities to engage those students who attend. In previous years, events have included a fencing display by the IUP Fencing Club, a cornhole tournament with members of Phi Kappa Psi, and a stepshow organized by the members of Alpha Phi Alpha.

IUP Day 2016 is being planned by a group of students from across the university. Together, they are planning activities, music, give-aways, food, entertainment, and more. Recognized organizations can register for the event through the Crimson Connect page.

The event will take place on Friday, September 9, between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. (Participating organizations should plan to arrive by 2:15 p.m. to set up.)
