Walmart has a Gaming Laptop?!

Walmart, the store known for affordable items, has come out with its own brand of gaming products, under the brand Overpowered. The real question being, is it actually a bang for you buck? The laptop is priced at $1,4000, but is currently on rollback for $799: with a 144Hz display, an Intel i7-8750H, a NIVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, a 1TB HDD, 256 SSD, and 16GB RAM (http://geni.us/bLrjziE). In essence, this laptop has just about all the necessary components for a quality gaming experience.  Check out Linus Tech Tips review this machine, where they benchmark and stress test this machine against a $1,400 and $800 machine!

The machine meets all proper benchmarks for an $800 machine; in fact, it runs much faster than it. It runs games at a decent 60+ fps, which will provide a valid gaming experience for the average gamer. There are a few odd software configurations, however, once you get used to using the system I’m sure you’ll pick it up quickly! On the other hand, the $1,400 laptop still outran the Walmart laptop. The regularly priced Walmart gaming laptop, would not do you justice, so go to a different brand. The laptop is worth the $800 rollback price, and you won’t find a better laptop for the price. This being so, it is a bit oddly configured so if the price runs any higher. I’d wait and save up for a more typical gaming laptop.

In summary, Linus Tech Tips concluded Walmart’s Overpowered laptop blows an $800 laptop out of the water, however, falls short compared to a $1,400 laptop. So only get this laptop at the rollbacked price. Did you find this interesting enough to buy a gaming laptop from Walmart? Let me know down in the comments below.
