In this blog i will like to reflect on Christian’s presentation on Eminem. I was never aware that his real name was Marshall Bruce Mathers III . I also wasn’t aware that he was bullied as a child and that’s why he made that song “Brain Damage”. The song in his presentation that he shared with the class was “Lose yourself” which just happens to be my favorite song by Eminem. Every time i listen to this song the message i get from it is staying motivated and remember to never give up. Another song i like by him is “Sorry Mama”  Ever since a little boy Eminem had to overcome many obstacles and you can just hear his pain in many of his songs. He’s one of few rappers who actually write and rap about personal life experiences and that’s why in my opinion he’s one of the greatest. Even though rap is mostly made up of African american artist Eminem brought his own style and flow that is respected by many.
