Hello everyone, today I am going to narrate my technology literacy. To make long story short, I am going to elaborate on the following questions:

1. What does technology mean to me personally?
2. Why is technology important to me?
3. What key experiences have I had with technology during my life?
4. Where did my ideas about technology come from?
5. Who and what shaped my views of technology?

To start with, technology means a lot not only to me but to almost everyone who breathes. Technology has become inevitable aspect of modern life that it has become impossible to avoid; whether you like it or not, whether you look at the positive side or the negative side of it, it is there. technology shapes the way I live and defines who I am. I rely on it extensively in my academia and in my home-related responsibilities. My two-year old son would stay at least ten hours on Youtube if we did not, following our family doctor advice, restrict it to two hours a day. My story with technology, if I mean by it here laptop, internet, email, googling, etc. started in 2004 when I matriculated into college. my technology literacy before that was driving the car, using the cell phone, air conditioning and all these basic technologies in everyone’s life nowadays.

Technology brought me here to the USA, wired me into IUP, connected me to the research community I want to belong to, and, again, defines who I am. Technology, even with its negative sides, is indispensable.
