In recent weeks hip-hop has been in a whirlwind if you ask me. A lot a good things happened for hip-hop in the month of June. Of course you always will have some negative things happen but you do your best to stay away from it. Speaking of staying away from negativity, what will ‘Drake’ do? Will he do as ‘J. Prince’ advised and leave the ‘Pusha T’ beef alone or will he go right at him? And if he does happen to go at ‘Pusha’ on the album, how direct would it be? Will we get that “angry” ‘Drake’ that makes every punchline hurt like  the worst pain ever? Or will we get “passive aggressive” ‘Drake’ that says things that leaves too much room for inference? These are questions we all want answers too. I know I’m not alone in that. The good news is that the album is double sided. Meaning he his giving us to complete albums at the same time. Side A will consist of all rap songs. Side B will be strictly R&B. That being said, if he is going to address the beef between him and ‘Pusha T’ he has plenty of room to do so on this ‘Scorpion Album’. The hip-hop community has been waiting on this album since last year but with the recent events the anticipation is only that much greater. All of that ends tonight though. At 12 a.m, June 29th, the album will be released on Apple Music for instant streaming. That is when all shall be finally decided about this battle between to hip-hop juggernauts in ‘Drake’ and ‘Pusha T’.
