Joseph Louis Crissman is a Kittanning, PA native and alumni of the Armstrong Jr. Sr high school TV production program. From that program, he met Don Swanson, who is the owner of Spruce Films which is an independent video and film production company. Through Don, he got his first taste of filmmaking from volunteering as a junior production assistant on a low-budget feature film. From there, he knew he discovered his passion and has been striving and working to build his skills and knowledge on the art of filmmaking.
Currently, Joey is a senior at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and carrying multiple leadership roles. He is the president of the Student Film Association which is a student-run club advised by faculty member Mr. Jeremy Waltman. Executive producer for the IUP-TV sports show The Big Hit. And is the promotions director for the executive board of IUP-TV.
He also enjoys photography, most notably sports photography. You can see him on the sidelines during the football games and other sporting events.
