Hello!  My name is Thomas Michael Mahouski, but please just call me Mike.  I am a Communications Media student at IUP, and I am currently working on my internship at the YMCA of Indiana County.  I have been tasked with promoting “The Y” using social media, specifically Facebook.  I plan on using all the tools and knowledge provided to me through my education to produce effective images, video, and ad campaigns to help sell what the The Y is selling.  Their product just happens to be a healthier you.  My internship started this summer at The Y’s facility which is located in Indiana, PA at 60 N. Ben Franklin Road. I would love for you to follow my blog and grow as I grow in the art of promotion using social media. You might even get some health tips along the way.

As of August 2016 I am proud to say that I have successfully graduated. Though this marks the end of my college career, my professional career is just beginning. I am currently on the hunt for an entry level job and will keep you updated on my progress. Hmm maybe I should blog about my job hunting experience…
