Fourth stop on the trip will be Giza, Egypt!
How? This is a common question when trying to travel far and wide. How will I get there? How do I plan for this trip? How will I make this possible?
Today I will be answering some of your ‘How questions’ on attaining a successful trip. I will also be open for tips, comments, and questions at the end of the post.
One of my dreams would to be able to travel through an ancient Egyptian pyramid. In Giza is where these pyramids are located! These pyramids are tombs for great Pharos back in the day. The largest and greatest tomb is King Khufu tomb. The great sphinx, human head on a lions body. Giza is full of ancient Egyptian artifacts!
How will I get there? Expenses to Egypt are a little steep. Airfare alone can cost from $1200-$6000…. Yeah a big price gap there. Onto of the price the flights are long with a couple lay overs so you would have to take todays just to travel to and back making that 4 days total of travel.
How will I stay? On the bright side hotels are cheap as well as excursions! Hotels can range from $54-$150 .
How will I stayed occupied? Its free to look and explore the desert. Take the day and spend the money to venture through these amazing hand built pyramids. Also, take the chance to live on the wild side and venture the desert via camel or horse back. It’s also recommended to check out the Egyptian museum because a lot of the artifacts have been taken out of the tombs you can see what the tombs once held, this includes the mummy!
How will I communicate? Language barriers in Egypt are more challenging than that due to Arabic being the predominate language. Arabic is more challenging language to pick up on than say Spanish. However, I recommend learning the basics on order to get a more authentic trip. Being able to get submerged in the culture you’re around is the best way to get a full experience.
How will I stay safe? When traveling out of the country its important to check health risks and what needs to be done in order to keep yourself heathy. It’s suggested that you get the following shots; Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, Cholera, Yellow Fever, Meningitis, Polio, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Tdap, Chickenpox, Shingles, Pneumonia, and Influenza. Take good precautions in order to keep yourself safe.

‘How’ questions are only an excuse that stops us from straying from our comfort zone. Don’t let it stop you, let it fuel you. Traveling is an eye opening and educational experience, the only way to learn is to go. There is no master plan or set rules or guide lines to traveling. You just do your research and plan accordingly. So, where will you go? What will you learn? What’s stopping you?
