Stop number five and the chillest thus far, Finland!
How? This is a common question when trying to travel far and wide. How will I get there? How do I plan for this trip? How will I make this possible?
Today I will be answering some of your ‘How questions’ on attaining a successful trip. I will also be open for tips, comments, and questions at the end of the post.
Before I die I’ve always really wanted to experience the Northern Lights. There is no better place to experience them then at the Kakslauttanen Resort in Finland. The resort not your normal hotel with fancy amenities. Each room is its own glass igloo! How neat! This way it makes it better for viewing the Northern Lights in the cold.
How will I get there? Flights to Finland are around the same price all of our other stops have been. Airfare ranges around $1000. Seeing that this is an average makes me think this is pretty cheap in the travel world.
How will I rest? However, the hotel is expensive. But can you blame them? They offer such an amazing experience. You are staying in a glass igloo as the Northern Lights paint the sky.
How will I stay occupied? The hotel offers different activities. Multiple different restaurants to try, a spa for relaxation, out door equipment rental like skiing, and ice swimming. They offer a bunch of different excursions as well like husky and horse safaris, fishing trips, and hiking and biking.
How will I communicate? Language barriers in Finland is not that complex. Most people if not everyone is familiar with English and will be able to help you, However most are also fluent in Finnish so do not be surprised if you hear a mix of language while Traveling in Finland.
How will I stay safe? Luckily, not many vaccinations are needed when traveling to Finland. It is recommended that you receive Hepatitis A and B as well as the Rabies shot in order to keep you healthy on your excursions.
If you have ever been to Finland and you have travel tips feel free to leave them below. If you have any comments or questions drop them below as well.
‘How’ questions are only an excuse that stops us from straying from our comfort zone. Don’t let it stop you, let it fuel you. Traveling is an eye opening and educational experience, the only way to learn is to go. There is no master plan or set rules or guide lines to traveling. You just do your research and plan accordingly. So, where will you go? What will you learn? What’s stopping you?
