Bali

Stop number three will be Bali, Indonesia.

How? This is a common question when trying to travel far and wide. How will I get there? How do I plan for this trip? How will I make this possible?

Today I will be answering some of your ‘How questions’ on attaining a successful trip. I will also be open for tips, comments, and questions at the end of the post.

Bali is a really neat Island located westernmost of the Lesser Sunda Islands. Bali is providence of Indonesia and has recently been named as a top travel place. This providence is known for its highly developed art: dance, sculpture, painting, leather, and metalworking.

How will I get there? Traveling to Bali, I feel like you really get a good bang for your buck. The sights you can see in Bali is absolutely beautiful anywhere you travel on the island. Flights to this  beautiful island will cost you between good $800-$900. Not to shabby. These prices are better then our other destinations!

How will I rest? Hotels can range depending where on the island you stay as well as what accommodations you want the hotel to have. Prices can range from $50-$200 hotel rooms.

How will I stayed occupied? Now Bali may seem a little far just to go for art. But Bali is full of culture. Its home to many different temples. Bali is predominantly Hindu, therefore, there are many amazing statues of ancient Hindu mythology. Along side temples and statues Bali’s costal life is also beautiful. From beaches, waterfalls, and temples in the mountains, Bali has got it all.

How will I communicate? In Bali they speak Bali which is a malayo-polynesian language. So there will be a language speaking barrier for travelers. Again I always suggest getting familiar with the basics of the language of the place you will be traveling to. This always better prepares you for better interaction with the culture and a more authentic experience.

How will I stay safe? Bali has a couple of health risks however if you plan on traveling there. Somethings to watch out for or get vacancies against is; Rabies, Hepatitis A and B, Measles, Typhoid, Tetnus, Cholera, and Mosquito borne illnesses. Its always good to take precautions because different climate and environment house different health risks.

If you have ever been to Bali and you have travel tips feel free to leave them below. If you have any comments or questions drop them below as well.

‘How’ questions are only an excuse that stops us from straying from our comfort zone. Don’t let it stop you, let it fuel you. Traveling is an eye opening and educational experience, the only way to learn is to go. There is no master plan or set rules or guide lines to traveling. You just  do your research and plan accordingly. So, where will you go? What will you learn? What’s stopping you?
