The next electronic device that I can remember that brought me a lot of love, fun, pain, and trouble was remote controlled vehicles. When I was about ten years old, I remember my grandfather giving me this remote-controlled monster truck. I loved that monster truck so much because that was the only gift my grandfather ever gave me.
Some of the love and fun that came from me having remote controlled vehicles was when I would go outside on my old block and race all the other kids that had remote controlled vehicles. That love started to become an obsession because after that first vehicle I got a lot of other remote controlled vehicles like mini helicopters, they were so fun to me because I felt like I was piloting a real helicopter while being inside my house or outside if the wind wasn’t too strong.
Some of the pain and trouble that came from me having remote controlled vehicles was when I had a remote-controlled car and remote-controlled mini helicopters. I remember this one time when I was a kid outside playing with my remote-controlled car it had got ran over by a real car and I was so mad I started yelling at the person in the car. Now with the mini helicopter I remember flying it indoors, after my parents told me not too and crashing the helicopter into the living room TV causing a big crack.
Some of that pain and trouble could have been avoided if wasn’t driving my remote controlled car in the middle of the street it probably would have not got ran over by a real car now that I think about, I just don’t understand how the driver didn’t see my car in the middle of the street it was pretty big or maybe they did it on purpose. And the helicopter incident could have been avoided if I would’ve just listened to parents when they said don’t fly it inside the house.
