Have a love for cute baby animals? In this story, Swoop member Sarah Everett goes to Marion Center to the animal rehabilitation center, Kritter Kamp. Kritter Kamp has been in operation since 1983. Everett interviews Ayn van Dyke who, along with her husband, have helped hundreds of baby animals for over thirty years right out of their home. Van Dyke explains the process of rehabilitation and tells stories about some of the animals she has helped. Animals include fawns, baby possums, raccoons, and even baby bears. As one of only two licensed facilities on this side of Pennsylvania, Kritter Kamp is an integral part of the community and runs solely on donations. The story explains ways to get in touch with the van Dykes and the steps to take when helping an injured or orphaned animal.
