This immediately reminds me of when I was studying to become a social studies teacher. I took a class called cultural geography and I learned the history of language:

The myth becomes visualized… we see the family tree, how English is connected to Spanish… though they sound different in many ways they are part of the same bough of the same tree…

Incantation… magical sounds strung together to create magical words! The words we speak have magic… they can order pyramids to be built and they can order walls to be torn down…  We can make people love us, or we can make them hate us… Words can fling us into a rage or they can sooth and comfort us…

Perhaps we do not need the traditional magic of witchcraft and wizardry… the magic we have been seeking has been in front of us the whole time. Right under our very noses really… coming from our
