Hello and welcome back to my next blog in the series, Shampoo Advertisements. These types of ads first started in the year 1914. These types of ads are important because everyone needs shampoo. Today I will be going over some different ways to make your advertisements great. I hope you enjoy and learn a lot while reading my blog.

The first way is by “understanding your target market”. If your shampoo is made for a specific preference or purpose to customers, then you should make that the biggest incentive for your ad. This means that the only people that would use this brand are the ones who specifically want it for the preference that brand offers. When creating your ad, you should make this a part of your slogan or very well known to the audience.

The next way is by “co-branding”. This would be a huge help because the other brand’s customers can come over to your company. The only downside to this is that it takes a while to build up a reputation. This is important because for any brand to co-brand with you they would like to know that you are a reliable company to work and be associated with. According to theodmgroup.com “brands often sign licensing deals with other popular franchises to use their content, representatives for endorsement or as a collaborative product”.

The third way is by “giving a gift-with-purchase”. I’m sure everyone likes gifts so why not put one with the product that you are selling? This is especially great if you are co-branding because you can put the product of the other company with your product as the gift. You will want to make sure that the shampoo and gift connect in some way.

The fourth way is by “checking areas for improvement”. Once you start your business and let it run for a while you should start looking for areas of improvement. You can always make your company better. A tip that I would give someone is to conduct a survey. When people shop at your business have them fill out a survey with questions that you created so they can let you know what is going well and what is not. You should also have an opened ended space at the bottom so they can leave their own comments.
