STREET PHOTOGRAPHY
Street photography can be a challenge, especially for someone that’s used to only photographing portraits, nature, and my animals. I tried to get as creative as I could on this day back in October. Hopefully once it starts to warm up I can get back outside and practice some more!
MAYDAY PARADE
On campus I work for and am involved with an organization called the Student Activity Committee (STATIC). I am the media chair, and with that position I am required to post content to our social media accounts, update our website, and take photographs at events. In November, we had an alternative rock band, Mayday Parade, perform in the Hub Ohio Room. This band has been one of my favorites since middle school, so I was absolutely honored to photograph their performance that night.
SNOW DAY
My dogs adore the snow. They love to play in it, roll in it, eat it, and run through snow piles. Sometimes, however, they get too cold, so that’s why we give them little jackets to wear. It keeps them warm enough so they can enjoy being outside for longer periods of time.
Over winter break we had gotten a couple inches of snow, so I thought it would be fun to take some pictures of my dogs since I haven’t taken any since break started. I hold to hold a snowball in front of my camera so they would sit still for me. When you have 3 dogs, they don’t typically like to sit still for long. Below are some of the pictures I snapped.
