About the Book:
Sarah loves bees because even if they can dally out into the sunlight, they bring some of it back for her to enjoy. Sarah cannot remember the last time she was happy. So, she decided to escape into the sunlight, full of dandy roses and bright buzzing bees. Leaving her boyfriend, Matt, to sort out the pieces of where she went. Matt, on the trail, discovers that maybe he does not want to find her.
This book blends poetry and fiction writing to allowing the poetry to provide context and meaning to the fiction sections and vice versa. With these two forms bouncing off each other, I hope to make a more engaging story. With an engaging mystery that pulls you in from the very beginning, I hope you will not be able to put this book down.

About the Author:
Currently a Senior English writing track major at IUP, this is my first book. I have been writing poetry and short stories for some time, this is my first full-length novel.
I wanted to explore the tragedy behind people who go missing, some against their will, others it is their driving motivator. I wanted to see what would happen if one of my characters up and disappeared from before our protagonist’s eyes. I wanted to know how long they would look, would they be able to find them, and in the end if it would all be even worth it.
I blend magical realism into the story, and I try and use poetry to assist with the imagery associated with that type of writing.
