Your passes are always getting deflected, or they are always getting stolen. It’s normal to struggle with these things. Let’s figure out how to correct them.
Did you have a game where you had multiple turnovers? Did you feel like you were just giving the other team the ball? It happens to the best of us, but letting these problems linger is what will end you up on the bench. The coach won’t have trust in you handling the ball or making plays for the team. So, if the coaches don’t trust you then your playing time will be limited and you won’t enjoy the playing experience.
The most important key to becoming a better passer.You must keep your eyes locked in on your target. This gives you the view of what’s going on in front of you. Then you can anticipate where that person is going and where they will be at any moment. Before you pass the ball you usually make eye contact with your target before you pass the ball. So you will already know that they are ready for the pass or not.
The best possible solution to becoming a better passer is using ball fakes. Fake the ball one way and pass the other way.Make the other team feel you are passing the ball somewhere else. This will open up passing lanes throughout the defense tremendously. This will show your coach you have a lot of poise and that you are thinking of ways to make the game easier.
How did you go about trying to be a better passer before this? Have you ever been scammed with makeshift gadgets for passing? I know multiple people who have bought machines that are supposed to help their passing but haven’t helped at all. They ultimately just wasted their money. Try to stick to the basics and work on your fundamentals.
