Casual Friday
Happy Friday everyone, we made it!
Today I thought we can talk about casual Friday, considering today is one of those days.
At the company I am currently at, the Friday attire is based on whatever team you are a part of and what building/ floor you are in. Personally, I just so happen to sit on a floor that some high up individuals sit on as well, so no one on my team does casual Fridays. Sad, I know.
But if you do get to give the heels a rest on Fridays, this post is for you!
The words “casual” and “corporate America” typically don’t go together. This may leave you wonder, what exactly is appropriate for a dress-down day at the office. There are some fine lines that probably shouldn’t be cross, so let’s get right to it and find a solution!
Jeans:
Ripped? Stay away
Too tight? Save those for another time.
A pair that looks like these? Perfect!
Tops:
Something low cut? Nah, not at work.
Something wrinkled? Iron it or push it to the side.
Something like one of these? Go for it!
Shoes:
Flip flops? Save them for after work.
Athletic shoes? This is a work place, not a gym.
Something like any of these? Absolutely!
