Happy Tuesday everyone!
I’ve always found Tuesdays to be more difficult than Mondays… but what can you do?
At least we can tackle the beginning of the week in style!
Today’s topic of conversation: Mom’s closet.
Now this doesn’t necessarily have to belong to your mom. It could be your grandmothers, or maybe your super cool rocker aunt has some vintage 90’s duds.
In my case however, I go through my mom’s closet at least once a week. She just has such great stuff! Though my mom has gotten rid of a lot of previously trendy items, she does have a few “older” pieces I always find myself gravitating towards.
But the problem that can arise is how exactly can we blend these vintage pieces into our everyday work wear? Though I have yet to find a way to make an old 80’s concert tee into something work appropriate, I have found a few items that can be transitioned into 2017.
My favorite revamped item is something I like to call the “classic 90’s mom” shoe. You may have seen them in trendy stores recently.
