Yesterday concluded the 2020-20221 NFL regular season which means that the NFL playoffs have been officially set. Some teams were granted the fortune of making it while others, unfortunately, were not able to due to their overall records. Seven teams from each division are set to square off to decide who will become the super bowl champions. Every year, teams surprise the football world with their amazing/terrible performances in the playoffs. And today, I am here to give you my predictions on how the NFL playoffs will shape out and who I believe will win this year’s Superbowl.
The AFC playoffs tend to be a lot more competitive in my eyes as opposed to the NFC. A lot of evenly matched teams are squaring up within the first round of the playoffs and it should be a very exciting upcoming weekend of football. The Titans and Ravens match up in which I believe is the best matchup of the entire playoffs. But I see the Ravens getting the win based on their defense and pass game. The Steelers and Browns are also very evenly matched and should be a very competitive game. But I see the Steelers winning the game because of their top-ranked defense. And lastly, the Colts and the Bills matchup in which I believe the Bills will win pretty easily. They have a significantly better offense and I believe they will represent the AFC in the Superbowl this year.
Despite the NFC having weaker and teams, the matchups are highly anticipated and should be pretty entertaining to watch. The Rams and Seahawks square off in which I see the Seahawks winning by a significant margin. the Rams quarterback is hurt, and the lack of playoff experience on the rams hurts their chances of winning significantly. The Bears and the Saints will be a very entertaining game. Both teams have struggled offensively at times this season, but I see the Saints winning considering they have a more experienced quarterback and better leadership. And lastly, the Football Team and the Buccaneers battle in which I think this matchup will be pretty lop-sided. The Buccaneers have a significantly better offense that they will use to their advantage and I believe they will win the game easily. I see the Packers representing the NFC in the Superbowl just because they are clearly the best team in the division.
Now that my Superbowl prediction is set, I will break it down for you all. The Packers and the Bills both have incredible offenses with respected defenses. In order for the Bills to win, they need to score a lot of points and pass the ball more frequently than they are used to. And for the Packers to win, they need to force the Bills to run the ball and throw in a lot of blitz packages to get pressure on Josh Allen. Aaron Rodgers has a lot more playoff experience than the young Josh Allen, which is a huge advantage in the playoffs. So with that being said, I see the Packers defeating the Bills by a final score of 37-23.
