The final step of this process is registering for your summer internship course COMM 493. You will be assigned to a faculty supervisor and course section. You will receive instructions for registering in or around the first week of May. You will not be able to register for this course until you have been given permission and assigned.

You may start the internship the Monday after the spring semester ends. You must complete your internship by the last day of summer session 2. Your faculty supervisor will provide you with a syllabus that details requirements of the course and due dates.

It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to meet requirements, check IUP email for updates and communication from your faculty supervisor. If you fail to do so, you could be subject to failing the course.
