Welcome to spring! Or, as I like to call it, Internship Hunting Season! Here is how it usually goes.

January: Lots of time to find an internship. You should meet with Dr. Lenze to discuss how best to find an internship that meets your needs.

February: Still a good amount of time to find an internship. You should meet with Dr. Lenze to refine your internship search so you can complete the internship application process.

March: Time is running out. You need to meet with Dr. Lenze again to see if it is still possible to find an internship this summer.

April 1: Time is just about gone! You need to meet with Dr. Lenze immediately to see what opportunities may still be possible. It is unlikely you will be completing an internship this summer.

April 15: Time is gone! Dr. Lenze will no longer accept internship applications. No joke. Too late.

So, you should meet with me, Dr. Lenze, in the next week. My office hours are as follows.

MWF 9 am to 10 am
MW 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm

No appointment is necessary. Just stop in! I will keep a log of who visits and when. If you do not visit me and later complain you received no help, I will just present the log and tell whoever you complained to that you didn’t come and see me.
