Jason Mikula, as a writer, exists between deep thinking and academic literature. Growing up with a passion for reading, he went from a reader into an author. What makes Mikula’s writing special is his approach. He often mixes an analytical tone with a more personal one. Jason draws from philosophical works, like Albert Camus’s The Myth of Sisyphus. In bringing these ideas into pieces, readers see deeper meanings in simple concepts. Some of his works include Anatomy of Life and Death, “On…,” and Uncanny Canyon.

Outside of reading and writing, Jason likes to research marine biology. His area of interest is deep sea creatures. He also enjoys crocheting and sometimes painting. His biggest supporter is his cat, Beerus, who never leaves him alone. Jason’s writing routine is often disrupted by Beerus. If someone knows how to get a cat to leave laptops alone, Jason would love to hear.
