rudeness during a presentation

Today’s topic is rudeness during a presentation. Sometimes when you are reporting a story, especially if it is one with controversy or that is dealing with someone doing something they shouldn’t do, they will not want to be interviewed or they won’t answer questions or they make themselves not available. This can be an issue because it can be awkward and some people don’t know what to do.

If someone is being rude during a presentation, make a mature comment to the audience, such as “as you can see this person is busy today,” or “this person has declined commenting.” It may be awkward for you, but just know that it isn’t your fault and you’re not doing anything wrong. Just continue on with the presentation, or they may go to another presentation. Don’t show that you’re upset with it because it is not to be taken personally.

What about you? Was someone ever rude during your presentation? What was the story about? What did the person do? What did you do? How did you feel? Let me know in the comments.
