This is a gentle reminder that IUP Reception for Women will take place at
3:30-5 pm this Wed. on Oct. 3, 2012 in the beautiful Blue Room on the first
floor of Sutton Hall. Please join us to celebrate the important
contributions of women faculty, women undergraduate and graduate students, women
staff and women administrators to the quality higher education at IUP. We
will also continue to advocate for gender equity and social justice as vital to
academic excellence on campus. IUP women will have the chance to meet
President Driscoll, Mrs. Driscoll, and Dean Asamoah from College of Humanities
and Social Sciences, who are gracious to have promised to attend, and to meet
each other. This reception is co-hosted by IUP Women’s Studies Program,
President’s Commission on the Status of Women, and PASSHE Women’s
Consortium. It is free and open to the public and all are very
welcome! Refreshments are available. Thank you.
