The IUP Journalism and Public Relations Department will host the 2018 Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education Collegiate Media Summit Oct. 20-21 in the Hadley Union Building on the IUP campus. Everyone from the IUP community is welcome to attend. Registration is $30 and includes participation in the day-and-a-half-long Summit, which includes up to four meals! The plenary session speaker is 21-time Emmy Award-winning journalist Wendy Bell of Pittsburgh. More than 20 IUP Journalism and Public Relations Department Alumni (including two Pulitzer Prize winners) will be participating in panel discussions throughout the day. All guests are invited to a networking/etiquette dinner Saturday night in the Blue Room of Sutton Hall. Although most of the topics will be led by journalism, public relations and communication professionals, all members of the IUP community will benefit from their presentations.
