Summer Conference Opportunity

Each year at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, the Mid-Atlantic Addiction Research and Training Institute for Community and Behavioral Health (MARTI) offers a week-long summer conference on the topic of addiction and families to train educators and clinician on the latest advances in the field.

This year’s topics will focus on the opiate and opioid addiction crisis as well as the suicide crisis that also seems to be ever prevalent throughout the region. Come to Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in Indiana, PA and hear presentations by nationally known speakers on what and where these crises are currently at and how to help those in these circumstances.

We can offer a 3 credit undergraduate course (SOC 481 Promoting Recovery and Wellness CRN #30915) which will be offered concurrently with the conference proceedings.
