Not Just Straight – A Group at the IUP Counseling Center

Interested in a safe place where you can share your experiences of living in a straight
world?

The group is an all-inclusive place where students who are questioning their sexual or gender identity or identify as LGBTQ+ can turn for confidential sharing and support.  The group is designed to be a safe space where concerns related to exploring sexuality, coming out, relationships, families, community, can all be discussed. Students do not need to be “out” in order to participate in this group, or have a firm sexual or gender identity.

Offered by the IUP Counseling Center: Supervisor-Rita Drapkin
Running: Tuesdays 4-5 PM

If you are interested in more information please contact Justin Harms (j.harms@iup.edu), or Joanne Petursson (j.a.petursson@iup.edu) to set up a confidential interview to see if this is the right group for you.  You can also call the Counseling Center at 724-357-2621.
