The Koch Internship Program

The Koch Internship Program is a paid internship
offered in the summer, fall, and spring for young professionals who want
to become effective advocates for individual liberty, free markets, and
economic freedom.

Based in the Washington, DC area, the Koch
Internship Program combines meaningful work, career training, and
networking to help interns become:

  • Excited about the ideas of liberty and economic freedom
  • Equipped to effectively advance those ideas, and
  • Engaged in opportunities that seek liberty-advancing social change.

How it works

During
the program, each intern works at a non-profit 501(c)(3) partner
organization and gains valuable experience advancing the ideas of
individual liberty and economic freedom in the non-profit sector.
>>Roles & Placement Process

Alongside hands-on work experience, interns gather
at the Foundation once a week for training and career development.
Through reading discussions, guest speakers, practical workshops, and
group projects, interns learn to apply economic thinking within
organizations and build skills to effectively advance liberty.  >>Training & Development

As a resource both during and after the program,
the Foundation can help interns find the right next step in their
careers, and the growing alumni network keeps interns connected to
others who are advancing liberty.
 >>After the Program

Competitively paid internships are available in the
spring, summer, and fall, and are roughly three months long. This
Washington, DC internship is for both current students and graduates.
  >>Dates & Details

The Koch Internship Program is highly selective.
Candidates come from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, but all are
excited about advancing the ideas of liberty to improve society.
