Hello! I would like to introduce myself and tell everyone reading a little more about who I am. My name is Kevin Bohan, I was born in north eastern Pennsylvania in 1993 to Maria and James Bohan. I grew up in the small town of Shavertown. Most of my upbringing was spent either watching or playing sports of all kinds. Due to a lack of talent and a mild case of laziness becoming a professional athlete was quickly diminished and entering broadcasting became my main interest.

Attending high school at nearby Lake-Lehman I partook in various sports while writing for the school newspaper as much as I could. Graduating in 2012 with honors I decided to attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania to continue my education and focus more and more on my broadcasting dream.  After taking several classes I had questions about my education so I took some time off from school and return home.

After some time, off of school and various odd jobs later I decided to return to IUP to continue my education and to try and achieve my broadcasting goals. Upon my return, I decided to become heavily involved with many of the programs offered by the communications media department. I have been a member of IUP radio where I have worked my way up to hosting my own sports talk show and have been an on-air analyst for IUP TV’s sports talk show “The Big Hit”.  I hope to use this blog to convey my opinions to others and to improve my writing skills for my future in the world of communications media!
