My name is Adam Dworek, a 22-year-old student at IUP, expecting to graduate this May! I am majoring in Communications Media with a media production focus.
During my time at IUP, I’ve worked on several television shows, including Witticism, IUP-TV news, and occasionally worked on and helped other shows such as Press Start and The Big Hit. I’ve started working on Witticism 2 years ago my sophomore year of college, learning experience in almost every aspect what it takes to film a tv show in audio, lighting, scriptwriting, editing, camera operating and working a tricaster. For IUP-TV, I worked one on one with professor Dr. Muchtar in writing the script every week, in addition to that, I was creating and producing my own news packages to be broadcasted.
Witticism has won many awards at IUP’s annual comm banquet, such as best improved tv show and overall best tv show. I personally have won the prestigious Macguffin award hosted by our professor Dr. Lenze in our Comm 150 class. Voted first place out of 25 groups, you can watch it here.
